two years!!

Happy two-year cancer-versary to me!

The doc counts years beginning at the end of chemo, which isn't until November, but today is the anniversary of when I got the good news that the cancer was dead — first negative PET scan. Hooray!!

Hodgkin lymphoma is most likely to recur in the first two years, so this is a big milestone!

I plan to celebrate in November, when I get the high-five from the doc. Giving thanks at Thanksgiving indeed!

congrats on two years! i was just diagnosed with hodgkin's at the end of may, and i'm almost at the halfway mark in my chemo (scans in a couple of weeks!) i wanted to let you know that i was happy to find your blog (i've been blogging since my treatment started, and it's great to find other people who have blogged about cancer as well!)

good luck in the future and i'm glad to see things are going well!

Lauren, it sounds like you're just about exactly two years behind me. I hope it all goes well and is soon a surreal memory...
